As an artist-blacksmith, I have recently changed my forging business, The Blacksmith Forge, to specialise in more artistic forge-work including gates, balustrades, balconies, sculptural work, fireplaces and furniture. I design all my own work and produce mostly once-off commissions using old recycled wrought iron and mild steel. I work on my own in my studio situated in an old art-deco cinema, "The Bijou", which is located in Observatory, Cape Town, South Africa.
